Built around parent control.
Ranger's Path Physical Education is designed for minors to use inside a household. The parent account owns the educational record, verifies training, controls safety gates, and reviews assessment evidence.
What the app stores
The app may store the parent account email, household settings, student Ranger profile information such as name, age or grade, training logs, verified minutes, course progress, reading completion, assessment status, parent feedback, and the final course grade. This information supports the educational experience and family record.
Student assessment videos
Ranger Trial videos are uploaded directly into private app storage. The assessment record is restricted to the authenticated household account and does not expose a permanent public video URL. When the household opens a trial, the app requests a short-lived signed playback URL that expires automatically. Other family accounts cannot retrieve that assessment record through the app. Ranger's Path staff do not need a review queue for these videos in the homeschool family workflow.
Parent control
Parents verify PE minutes, review Ranger Trial videos, approve safety gates, verify reading missions, and approve the final grade. The course does not require a student social network, public leaderboard, Discord server, or direct messaging with Dash.
Account and service security
Family records are accessed through authenticated accounts. Families should use a strong password and avoid sharing login credentials outside the household. Trial videos do not require external sharing links, and the app uses temporary signed playback URLs rather than permanent public video addresses. No online service can promise absolute security, so the course is intentionally designed to minimize unnecessary student-facing social features and public sharing.
Physical safety
Parents are responsible for lawful use, suitable equipment, appropriate supervision, safe targets and backstops, and determining whether a student is ready for each discipline. The app's safety gates are a workflow aid; they do not replace parental judgment, local rules, or appropriate real-world precautions.
Educational records
The printable course record is generated from activity recorded and verified in the household account. The parent remains responsible for retaining the record, assigning the final grade, and determining how it is submitted or stored according to the requirements of their own homeschool or school program.
Founding-pilot standard
Before paid launch, this page should be reviewed alongside the final account terms and service-provider privacy policies. The product behavior described here reflects the current independent homeschool pilot.
